Course Description:

This course is designed for experienced actors looking to enhance their skills in film and television acting specifically for on-camera performances. Students will delve into advanced acting techniques, character development, and scene analysis tailored for the camera. Through practical exercises and scene work, students will refine their on-camera presence and deepen their understanding of the nuances of acting for film and television.

Advanced Acting Techniques for Film and Television

• Exploring different acting methods and approaches for on-camera performances

• Techniques for creating layered and nuanced characters specifically for film and television
• Understanding character arcs and motivations in the context of a camera lens

On-Camera Presence and Awareness

• Working with the camera as a scene partner and understanding the importance of eye lines

Scene Analysis and Making Strong Choices
